At 10:00 am, join the local community for the opening ceremony, marked by traditional rituals, flag hoisting, and the rhythm of Nagada drums. You’ll witness an impressive camel march and sand art displays, setting the stage for the fair. Afterward, enjoy local schoolgirls’ cultural performances and folk dances. In the early evening, head to the Pushkar Sarovar Ghats for the serene Deepdaan ceremony and a vibrant Rangoli display. As the sun sets, participate in the Maha Aarti at the ghats. The day concludes with more cultural performances at the Mela Ground stage, celebrating Rajasthan’s rich heritage.
Day 2: Games and Camel Festivities – Sunday, 10 November 2024
Begin your day at the Mela Ground, where you’ll see traditional games like Langri Taang, Satolia, and Gilli Danda in action. Locals and international visitors come together for some friendly competition, offering a unique cultural exchange. Later in the morning, be dazzled by a Camel Decoration Competition, followed by a Camel Dance Competition. In the evening, unwind with fusion music by the renowned Anirudh Verma, adding a contemporary touch to this traditional fair atmosphere.
Day 3: Sports and Symphony – Monday, 11 November 2024
After breakfast, head to the Mela Ground to witness a spirited Kabaddi match where locals and foreigners compete. Stick around for the impressive Horse Dance Competition, a signature event that showcases the majestic beauty of Rajasthan’s horses. In the afternoon, cheer for local athletes during the Inter Panchayat Samiti Rural Sports, featuring volleyball and Rassa Kassi. As the evening descends, delight in the soulful melodies of the Desert Symphony by Anwar Khan.

Afterward, witness classic Rajasthani traditions at the Mela Ground with a Moustache Competition and Turban Tying for Foreigners.
